Visit History — How It Works

Overview

Every page a logged-in classmate visits is recorded — which page, when, and (once they navigate away or close the tab) roughly how long they spent looking at it.

What's Tracked

  • Only authenticated, non-committee classmates are tracked — committee browsing doesn't skew the data.
  • Each page is counted at most once per browser session (closing and reopening the site starts a new session).
  • "Time on Page" pauses while the browser tab is in the background, so it reflects active attention, not idle time with the tab open elsewhere.
