    Identity
    First / Last Name
The classmate's preferred display name. Used on the directory, memory wall, and In Memory pages.
    Maiden Name
Shown in parentheses next to the last name in the directory. Helps classmates recognize each other by their 1977 name.
    Middle Initial
Optional. Used when two classmates share the same name.
    Contact
    Email
Required for magic-link login and all outreach emails. If blank, the classmate cannot log in or receive emails. Update this after a successful search.
    Phone
Used for SMS outreach only — not displayed publicly. Enter in any format; it's normalized on save to (###) ###-####.
    Address
    Street / City / State / Zip
Used for the printed directory and the map view. Shown to other classmates only if the classmate has opted in under "full contact info."
    Event
    Attendance Interest
Self-reported likelihood of attending the reunion. Options: Definitely, Probably, Not sure, Probably not, Definitely not. Feeds the Attending count on the dashboard.
    Guests
Number of additional people the classmate plans to bring. 0 = coming alone; max 10.
    Preferences / Notes
Free-text notes from the classmate — dietary needs, accessibility requests, or anything else they want the committee to know.
    Status & Visibility — Directory
Not set — use survey default
Leave this for classmates who haven't updated their preference yet; the system uses whatever they answered on the original survey.
Private — name & city only
Their name and city appear in the directory but no contact info is shown.
Show email only / phone only / email and phone
Selective sharing options.
    Show full contact info
Email, phone, and address are visible to all logged-in classmates.
    Status & Visibility — Flags
    Deceased
Removes the classmate from the live directory and moves them to the In Memory page. Reveals the memorial fields (tribute, obituary text, link, and photo).
    Pending Review
Set automatically when a classmate self-submits via the "Add Me" form. Uncheck after you've verified their identity and information.
    Do Not Email
Admin override — suppresses all outreach emails for known-bad or bounced addresses. Use when an email permanently bounces.
    Email Opted Out
Set automatically when a classmate clicks Unsubscribe in any email or opts out on the check-in/profile page. Don't override manually unless you have their explicit permission.
    Portrait
    Upload Color Portrait
Click the camera icon on the classmate's photo to upload a current color photo directly from your device. It is stored separately from the yearbook photo and displayed alongside it.
    Clear Photo
Removes the yearbook portrait from the directory and classmate card. Use if the wrong photo was matched or the classmate requests removal. The change takes effect on Save.
    Filters & Search
    Filters persist
Active filters (status, assignment, etc.) are saved in your browser and restored when you navigate back to this page or restart the browser.
    Mine count
When the "Mine" toggle is on, filter counts reflect only your assigned classmates — not the full roster.
    Search history
The search field keeps a short history of recent queries. Click the field or press the down arrow to see suggestions.
    Action Buttons
    Save Changes
Writes all form fields to the database immediately. Always save after editing — the dialog does not auto-save.
    Cancel
Closes the dialog without saving. Any unsaved changes are discarded.
    Delete
Permanently removes the classmate record. This cannot be undone — use only for test entries or duplicate records after merging data.

Committee Dashboard — How It Works

    What this page is

The main control center for all classmates. Every record — contact info, attendance status, photo, committee role — is managed from here.

    Finding classmates

    • Type a name, email address, or city in the search bar — results update instantly.
    • Use the filter sidebar on the left to narrow by status (attending, checked in, missing email, etc.).
    • Filters and search work together — filter first, then search within results.

    Editing a classmate

Click any row to open the detail panel on the right. You can update name, email, phone, address, city/state, attendance status, and committee role. Click Save when done.

    Adding a classmate

Click + Add Classmate for anyone not already in the list — people found through the search committee after the initial roster was loaded.

    Status indicators explained

    Checked In
Has created an account and logged into the website. This is your engaged audience.
    Attending
Has indicated they are definitely or probably coming to the reunion.
    Missing Email
No email address on file. These classmates haven't been reached yet — use Export Contacts to build a call list.
    Deceased
Marked as deceased. Will not appear in email audience lists.

    Tips

    • The classmate count in the header updates as you filter — helpful for headcount estimates.
    • Click a stat card on the Activity page to jump straight to the filtered list here.
    • Email confirmed means the person has logged in and verified their address. Unconfirmed means we have an address but they haven't logged in yet.
